Kicksite offers fair and competitive pricing tiers that scale as your martial arts business scales. Newer and smaller schools with 0-25 students pay only $49/month. You’ll never pay more than $199/month for Kicksite’s martial arts software! Plus, there are no sneaky up-charges or premium tiers to unlock capabilities within the software – all pricing tiers have access to every feature in Kicksite.

Mindbody starts at $99/month and does not publicly disclose the cost for add-ons or plan upgrades. They also gate multiple software features behind the paywalls of their higher priced plans. Customers hoping to use Mindbody’s lead management dashboard and email/SMS marketing campaigns will have to upgrade to their highest price tier, the Ultimate plan.

Kicksite is proud to provide our customers with industry-leading Customer Support. Kicksite customers can take advantage of unlimited support and one-on-one trainings at no additional cost. New customers have the option to participate in a 60-day white glove onboarding process with a dedicated Onboarding Specialist to answer their questions and provide training and education. Our dedicated support team can be reached via email, voicemail, or our integrated ticketing system, with an average response time of 8 hours or less during regular business hours.

Mindbody’s preferred method of customer support is their AI assistant – not real human beings. If customers wish to speak to a real person at Mindbody, they can send an email or leave a voicemail for the Mindbody team to respond to, and “in certain situations” live chat is available to customers. Recent reviews from Mindbody customers suggest the onboarding process is disorganized and clunky, with large gaps between sessions and questions not being addressed fully or in a reasonable timeframe.

Kicksite’s preferred payment processing partner Basys offers a competitive 2.9% + $0.25 flat rate for all card transactions. This rate is available to all Kicksite customers regardless of pricing tier. Basys is A+ rated and accredited by the Better Business Bureau, with nearly 25 years of experience in the payment processing industry. The Kicksite and Basys headquarters are just a few miles apart in Kansas City, helping us build a strong working relationship.

Mindbody partners with Stripe for payment processing, but does not publicly disclose their rates for U.S. customers. This likely means rates vary based on a number of factors out of the customers’ control. Mindbody does not offer a flat rate for all card transactions – Card Not Present (online) transactions will incur a higher payment processing rate than Card Present (in-person) transactions.
