Flexible Martial Arts Attendance Check-In
With Kicksite’s kiosk-style attendance screen, class check-in at your martial arts school is a breeze! Even better, you and your students have options so logging attendance is easy for anyone who’s stepping on the mats.
PIN Number Check-In
Every student who is added to your system will be automatically assigned a PIN number that can be customized or kept as-is. When it's time to check in to class, they simply plug their PIN number into the kiosk screen to log their attendance!
Name Check-In
Worried that PIN numbers may be too difficult for students to remember? Fortunately, they'll always remember their name. With this optional setting, students can enter their PIN number OR search their name to get checked into class.
Barcode Check-In
By connecting a simple 2D barcode scanner to your tablet or computer, you unlock a third attendance check-in option: barcodes. These barcodes can be printed or accessed by students on their phone via the Kicksite member portal.
Mass Check-In Made Easy
If you’d rather not use the kiosk check-in or have a large roster of students whose attendance you want to log all at once, we’ve got you covered. Kicksite martial arts software makes it easy to filter, select, and check in a group of students in one single action. You can even select a prior date and retroactively add attendances through Mass Check-In!
Martial arts attendance reporting
Beyond student check-in, Kicksite martial arts software offers multiple ways for you to review, track, and analyze your school’s class attendance data.
With the Individual Attendances view, you’ll see a chronological list of individual check-ins by both students and prospects. Various filters allow you customize your view by date range, program/rank, and student vs. trial attendances. The list shows you each student’s current belt ranking as well as how many classes and days they’ve been at their current rank!
With Grouped Attendances, you can get a more comprehensive view of each student’s total number of attendances over a period of time. Just like Individual Attendances, you have access to a variety of filters to customize the list by date range, program/rank, and student vs. trial attendances. The ability to sort by attendance count lets you see who is attending class regularly and who needs a nudge to get back on the mats!
With Live Attendances, you have a real-time view of who is checking into class! As they use the attendance kiosk, the list populates with their name, program/rank, date of check-in, and classes and days at rank. Red alert icons will also appear for students who have past due invoices, expired memberships, or are missing signed waivers.

Customizable kiosk messaging
Along with an explanation of why their check-in was blocked, you can create an optional customized message that will pop up on the attendance kiosk when students or prospects attempt to check into class. This allows you to provide further explanation or direct them using your own voice and tone, making what can be an uncomfortable situation feel more personal.
