You’ll want to check and see if your existing software requires any sort of advance notice for cancellation, and verify how long you’ll still have access to your account after canceling. It will be helpful to have a brief period where both Kicksite and your existing software are active, so we can get your data transferred over successfully!

Kicksite is able to export and migrate data from just about any other martial arts software system out there, including Gymdesk, Pushpress, Spark Membership, Zenplanner, Mindbody, BJJLink, MyStudio, Wodify, Martialytics, and more!

Once our data specialist has access to your existing software account, we can typically have your data fully migrated in 2 business days or less!

At Kicksite, new customers get a 60-day onboarding period where they have access to a dedicated onboarding specialist and unlimited one-on-one training sessions via video call. After that 60 days you’re not on your own. You’ll always have the attention of our dedicated support team – available for everything from full trainings to quick questions.

Nope! We’re here to help make your transition as easy as possible, and that looks different for everybody. If you need one training, that’s great! If you need ten trainings, we’re cool with that too.

However many people you need! At Kicksite we’re all about making sure EVERYONE who is using the system feels equipped and educated, so we welcome instructors and staff to join the onboarding process. For efficiency, it usually works best to find times where everyone can join the same call, but we do our best to be as flexible as possible to make sure everyone is accommodated.

Absolutely not! At Kicksite we never charge any fees for training or support.

If you’re the type of person who prefers to go a self-guided route during onboarding, we want to give you that freedom to learn in a way that best suits you. To help you along the way, you will get access to our Knowledge Base, chalk full of up-to-date articles, videos, and guides on best practices in Kicksite. And regardless of how you choose to explore Kicksite, you’ll still have a dedicated onboarding specialist for that first 60 days so if you do run into any obstacles or have questions, someone is ready to assist when you need it.

Short answer: it’s complicated. Because credit card tokens are stored and managed by third party processors, we don’t have direct control over getting that information transferred if it’s between two different payment processing companies. While we have had clients successfully complete this type of transfer, we also deeply value the security of your students’ financial data and will never put a school in a compromising situation. All of that being said, we do have tools within our software that make it incredibly easy to request payment method setup from students in bulk. And we’ll help you learn to use them!

If you’re starting fresh with payment processing, you could be ready to charge credit and debit cards less than 2 weeks after your application is submitted. In many cases, it only takes a matter of days to get things up and running!

While we don’t have a crystal ball, we can tell you that we’ve had plenty of clients switch to Kicksite with zero or minimal student loss.

Once your student and prospect data is imported into Kicksite, you’ll be able to easily send bulk invites to your students to get an account created on the student portal and set up payment methods. You’ll also be able to send custom email or text message announcements to keep them up to date and informed.
