The Gold Standard Martial Arts Scholarship

Nominees must:

1. Be a US citizen or permanent resident
2. Be no more than 17 years of age at time of nomination
3. Be actively enrolled and maintain consistent attendance (minimum 1 class/week) at a martial arts school that uses Kicksite management software

Scholarships are non-transferable, can only be used towards the membership of the awarded party, and must be accepted as awarded. You may not be an officer, director, member or employee of Kicksite or any other party associated with the development or administration of the scholarship, or an immediate family member (i.e., parents, children, siblings or spouse) of any of the foregoing, or a person living in the household of any of these individuals, whether or not related. Further, Kicksite reserves the right to disqualify any applicant from the scholarship in its sole discretion at any time.

No purchase or payment is necessary to apply. Nominees must meet the scholarship’s eligibility requirements. Nominees must be nominated by their martial arts school owner or instructor through the Kicksite nomination form by the application deadline of Friday, July 17, 2026. Nominees agree to be bound by these Official Scholarship Rules. Kicksite expressly reserves the right to disqualify any nominees and/or applications that are inaccurate, incomplete, or that Kicksite believes in good faith to be generated by automated means or scripts or are the result of plagiarism.

Accepted scholarship applications will be reviewed and evaluated by Kicksite representatives to select two (2) total scholarship recipients no later than Monday, August 3, 2026. All decisions regarding the scholarship, including without limitation the selection of the winner, shall be final and binding in all respects. Kicksite reserves the right not to award a scholarship if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive any qualified applications.

Upon selection of recipients, Kicksite will notify the nominating school instructor(s)/owner(s) and parent(s)/guardian(s) of the recipient using contact information provided on the nomination form. Scholarship recipients may be subject to verification of eligibility and must be, at all times, in compliance with these Official Scholarship Rules. Although information provided during nomination may be verified, Kicksite is not under any obligation to verify any of the information that you provide, and you hereby warrant that all information that you provide in your nomination and otherwise in connection with the scholarship is complete and accurate. If an award notification is returned as undeliverable or a potential winner does not supply the required verification within the time specified, the award will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate recipient at Kicksite’s sole discretion.

After successful notification and verification of scholarship awards, Kicksite will fulfill the awards via monthly tuition payments to the martial arts schools where the scholarship recipients are enrolled. Unless otherwise stated, no scholarship monies will be paid directly to the recipients.

Scholarship recipients should act in good character and are expected to uphold high standards of conduct, which include abiding by federal, state, and local civil and criminal laws. They must also abide by the established conduct policies of their martial arts school. The recipient shall give permission for their martial arts school owner(s)/instructor(s) to notify Kicksite at any time if they become aware of an incident occurring involving an applicant or recipient that potentially violates the Kicksite Scholar Code of Conduct

To remain eligible, recipients must maintain enrollment at their martial arts school during the entirety of the scholarship period. If a recipient withdraws from enrollment or cancels their martial arts school membership at any time, they forfeit the remainder of their award and the scholarship will be terminated.

Scholarship recipients, by acceptance of their award, agree to release Kicksite, its employees, representatives, agents, contractors, assigns, advertisers, officers, directors, and shareholders from any and all liability, loss, damage, cost, claim arising out of their participation in the scholarship. Kicksite reserves the right to modify or terminate scholarships at any time for any reason in its sole discretion, with or without notice.

We reserve the right to reach out to nominators to ask for any additional details or documentation that may help Kicksite further assess nominees’ qualifications.

Kicksite will not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of religion, race, national origin, or membership in any other protected category.

The committee’s decision is final and not open to negotiation.
