2024 ADCC Miami Open Recap

This past weekend we joined our partner, ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club), at the Miami Open. The Kicksite team is excited to be the ADCC’s official BJJ billing software and we’re always eager to find more opportunities to meet the martial arts community face-to-face.

CUSTOMER VISITS

Associate Sales Team Lead Mike and Senior Business Development Representative Rachel had the pleasure of starting their Florida trip on Friday by visiting the locations of a couple of our clients’ schools. The duo toured Kill Cliff MMA and Legacy 31’s sleek, incredible facilities. Moments like these that build our bonds further are always a highlight of our travels, and it was only the beginning. The real excitement was yet to come!

THE TOURNAMENT

The doors to the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition Center opened bright and early at 7 a.m. on Saturday, November 9th. The day was booked and busy, with 100% capacity. Amongst these eager attendees were 1,058 passionate competitors of all ages, supporters, and professors from all over the world, all gathered and ready to watch some awesome Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

The ADCC event was next-level and introduced Rachel (who traveled with us for the first time!) to a new world of martial arts outside of Kicksite. Every moment was high-energy, fast-paced, and thrilling. It could be overwhelming to some, but never for our crew. Mike showed Rachel the ropes, and she had the opportunity to meet current and potential future customers face-to-face. Meeting school owners who were introduced to Kicksite thanks to her outreach left Rachel even more excited to continue spreading the word of how Kicksite can make businesses better.

THE RESULTS

Of course, the ADCC Miami Open is more than just us talking about software; it’s about competition and the unifying passion of Jiu-Jitsu. When Saturday concluded, there were a total of 512 medals handed out: 182 gold, 180 silver, and 152 bronze were awarded to the best athletes at the event. Among these medalists, Kicksite is especially proud to highlight one of our longtime customers, Alpha Miami Grappling, for their Top Adult Team AND Top Youth Team rankings.

At the end of the weekend, our team is most grateful to see so many familiar faces, hear how we’ve positively impacted their business, and discover ways we could do more for you. It’s an incredible experience to be away from home and united with those around us through martial arts. After an energetic event, we’re ready to take your excitement back to our home office.
