2023 Finances Uplift
There are plenty of instances when a due date needs to be changed – students leaving, offering a free month of membership, etc. But, changing the Paid Through Date isn’t the answer.
It may seem easier up front, but it removes context. Moving the paid through date doesn’t track how much money you lost over a year of waiving memberships. It doesn’t set a reminder for future you explaining why you changed it, either.
Instead, going through the correct steps – such as crediting an invoice, or inactivating a recurring billing if a student leaves – will keep your books tidy and provide valuable insights to make your business stronger.
We know change is difficult – that’s why Kicksite’s Success Team is here to answer any questions you may have. You can submit a question to support@kicksite.net , or browse other articles about the finances uplift.
