We Asked Jamie
What do you do at Kicksite?
I’m a software developer at Kicksite. As a relative newcomer, I’ve worked more on the uplifted parts of Kicksite than classic features. If you are a Kicksite user and opted into some of our beta features you have definitely used code that I’ve written. I work on both front-end features and back-end features but during my time at Kicksite I’ve contributed more to front-end features.
What is the best meal you have ever had?
I’m not necessarily a vegetarian or super-strict about wellness & health food. However, in 2019 I read a book called “Hippie Food” that detailed the history of one of the oldest vegetarian restaurants in Seattle called the Sunlight Café. Later that year I got to visit it on a vacation to the Pacific Northwest. The Vegan Highlander, an item on their breakfast menu, has two kinds of soy protein: tofu and tempeh. It is amazing.
