2025 Kicksite Software Updates Recap
With 2025 wrapped up and 2026 well underway, we wanted to take a look back and recognize the most notable updates made to Kicksite martial arts software last year. We hope you caught all of the upgrades we made over the course of 2025, but in case some fell under your radar, we wanted to make sure we recapped them accordingly. Landing Page Builder Updates
With our Landing Page Builder Updates we created a more streamlined experience so it’s even simpler to start collecting Prospects and processing transactions. In the new builder you can quickly create and customize the Landing Page while connecting both participant and guardian lead capture forms. The more intuitive layout lets you easily enable membership sign ups, agreements, and inventory items. Better yet? You can view all your work in a live pop-up preview.

Discounts
The introduction of Discounts was an absolute game changer. With the ability to create both flat rate and percentage discounts and even generate discount codes for use on landing pages, you have the flexibility to use it in any scenario. From merchandise to memberships, year-round offers or limited time offers — the Discounts update was made to suit your every need and take promotions (of any occasion or holiday!) to the next level.

Landing Page Submission Export
Pairing nicely with our aforementioned Landing Page Builder Updates is the Landing Page Submission Export update. Small, yet mighty – this update allows you to export your responses in a clean spreadsheet format with just a click of a button! This feature was one that was frequently requested by customers and we were excited to be able to implement this capability thanks to your feedback.
Universal Search Filters
The Universal Search Filter is a feature so simple that it can be easily overlooked, but we couldn’t imagine our system without it. It allows you to apply filters in the search box at the top of your software to better narrow and categorize your results. Without a second thought, you can quickly find the exact profiles and documents you are looking for – prospects, students, families, invoices and more!

Name Check-In
The option to check-in with name search has been a highly requested feature, and in 2025 we made it happen. Now students don’t need to be reminded of their PIN, but can simply check-in on the Kiosk with their name. Even better: Name Check-In can be toggled on while still allowing PIN number and barcode check-ins too. You have a variety of options that can be used simultaneously to meet everyone’s needs and preferences.

Uplifted Prospect List & Board
This was a highly-anticipated, HUGE update last year! Our team was ecstatic to unveil the uplifted Prospects experience in August 2025. The new Prospects List came with a slew of new features and updates including:
- Board View – A sleek new drag-and-drop system. The KanBan-style board view makes it easy to quickly move prospects between stages, glance at action items, and see the big picture. Don’t worry though: The original Table view you may know and love still is an option and received a visual upgrade.
- Customizable Lead Stages – With Lead Stages, you can sort and move prospects through your pipeline however you see fit! While we give you an initial set of recommended Stages, you can create your own to better reflect how your staff manage and nurture leads.
- Lead Priority – Mark your leads as hot, warm, or cold to signal who’s ready to sign-up ASAP versus those who may need extra TLC to get them on the mats.
- Stage Actions – Follow-up can be tedious and time consuming, so we’re making it actionable right from your Prospects List. Sending communications, assigning leads, and scheduling appointments and tasks can be done in seconds!
- Dashboard Reporting – In addition to using the Prospect List, you can view top-level Prospect information right on the Dashboard thanks to uplifted reporting data. This includes a Pipeline module which displays all prospects created from the last 7 days and a Distribution module which shows a visual breakdown of Prospects in each stage.

Partial Refunds
While we wish that our customers NEVER had to issue refunds, we understand that it can just be part of doing business. Kicksite previously implemented a full refund capability, but we had received numerous requests from customers to be able to execute partial refunds as well. We heard that feedback and made it a reality. We hope you DON’T have to use this very frequently (if at all), but now you have the flexibility to do it!

Discount Details
As you utilize the new Discounts feature, you’re likely going to want to dive further into utilization and financial data tied to those Discounts. With Discount Details, you’ll be able to easily see how many discounts have been redeemed and how much your students are saving with each code and promotion you offer!
Two Way Texting
This was our big bang to close out 2025! Just in the nick of time for holiday promotions, we introduced Two-Way texting into our software. This comes with a convenient Conversations inbox, texting templates so you can more easily answer frequently asked questions, and even the ability to send images. With so many possibilities unlocked, such as sending evite graphics or a standard follow-up text to prospects, it’s hard to fathom that there’s even more to come with Kicksite Communications! Keep a close eye on your inbox and Kicksite’s social media channels to see what this evolution will look like in 2026.

Check-In Restrictions
There are a number of reasons why you might want to stop a student from stepping onto the mats and that’s where Check-In Restrictions come in! This highly requested feature allows you to block students from class check-in on the Attendance Kiosk if they meet certain criteria (outstanding balances, missing waivers, expired memberships and trials). If you’d like to take a softer approach, that’s okay too! Check-In Restrictions will also allow you to still let students check in, but display a customized message, or even mix and match to create a setup that makes the most sense for your school.
